Hey Baseballfans.

Another season of Austrian baseball is about to get on its way. I will follow the league via this blog with statistical analysis, opinions, impressions, pictures, video, audio, and of course first hand experiences, as I am currently a player of the Vienna Metrostars.

The Blog will be devided into several section. I know it doesn’t look like much yet, it’s going to take some time, please bear with me. In the mean time my first Post will be a break-down of each ABL team, it lacks a little bit in numbers. My stats tool is not yet at a state where this is easily available to me, look for future articles to feature more numbers.

I will write in both english and german. I have no real preference, except that it feels more natural to me to write in english, as I have done all my writing in english in the past few years. I would like to incorporate a google-translator for the site, those usually do a decent job.

I am looking forward to your comments and question. Please help me make this site better by posting as many comments as possible. I will try to respond to every single one and or incorporate the questions into my articles. Also. Please be patient with my releases, the season is a few hours away and I’m doing my ABL Preview… unfortunately I dedicated all of my time to working on the statistics.
